Frequently Asked Questions

For most professionals, a one-page resume is ideal. However, if you have extensive experience (10+ years) or are in academia/research, a two-page resume is acceptable. Never exceed two pages unless you're applying for a very senior position or academic role.
PDF is generally the best format as it preserves your formatting across different devices and systems. However, some ATS systems prefer Word documents, so check the job posting for specific requirements.
Update your resume every 3-6 months, or whenever you gain new skills, complete significant projects, or change roles. Regular updates ensure you don't forget important achievements and keep your resume current.
